From time to time it may become necessary to cancel a landlords policy mid term in which case we are compelled to make a charge to cover administration costs incurred and costs charged to us by the various insurance companies. If you are aware of any reason why you would require insurance for a period of less than 12 months please complete an enquiry form and we will quote on this basis. Alternatively please refer to the tariff below to calculate the cancellation charge for a landlord policy
Cancellation of Landlord Insurance Cover.
Subject to approval by underwriters, upon a request to cancel landlord insurance cover the following charges will be apply:
Time on Risk Charge
| Up to 1 month | 25% + £10 admin charge |
| 1 - 2 months | 30% + £10 admin charge |
| 2 - 3 months | 40% + £10 admin charge |
| 3 - 4 months | 50% + £10 admin charge |
| 4 - 5 months | 60% + £10 admin charge |
| 5 - 6 months | 70% + £10 admin charge |
| 6 - 7 months | 80% + £10 admin charge |
| 7 - 8 months | 90% + £10 admin charge |
Beyond the 8th month 100% of premium will be retained upon cancellation of a landlord's insurance plan.
